What it holds
Four kinds of record, each keeping its history instead of its latest value.
Characters with a history
Identity, personality, goal, arc, and the current state: condition, location, what they carry, what they know. States are dated, not overwritten, so chapter ten stays answerable.
Chapter 15: right arm injured. Chapter 22: healed. Chapter 40: permanently damaged.
Relationships that evolve
Who is what to whom, and since when. Rivals become allies over chapters, and the graph keeps every turn.
Kai to Zane: rival (chapter 1), enemy (chapter 30), ally (chapter 70).
A world that behaves like an encyclopedia
Places with parents and connections, factions, story facts, world rules, secrets and items, each linked to where they happened.
Rule: humans cannot teleport. Established in chapter 3.
A timeline in story order
Absolute dates, relative dates, unknown dates, flashbacks and multiple viewpoints. Chapter order is not assumed to be chronological order.

Two ways, and both keep you as the source of truth. You edit the records directly, any time.
